Your Unit 80 Hunt in Southern Colorado is Calling You!!
We are offering self-guided deer, elk, antelope, bear, or mountain lion hunts for all seasons (except the 4th rifle season) from the cabin, which is on private land. The cabin is located south of Monte Vista, Colorado in beautiful Rio Grande County at the end of County Road 9S; at the apex of the tallest hill on the property where you will have 360-degree views of the surrounding BLM and the Rio Grande National Forest. You would have exclusive access to 640 acres of prime hunting ground. We do require that 4 wheelers or motorized vehicles are only be used for game retrieval.
We have hunted in the area for many years and our hunters have bagged many deer and elk within walking distance of the cabin. Be prepared to accept the challenge of the unpredictable Rocky Mountain weather and hunt hard from dawn to dusk. We will look over maps with you and point you in the right direction.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
For all hunts, you will need to bring a variety of warm clothing, warm hiking boots, gloves, a good rain suit, knife, bone saw, hatchet, small nylon rope, gun, and ammo, or bow and arrows, good warm sleeping bag, binoculars, camera, Chapstick, sunscreen, and of course proper license or licenses.
